New Year - Same Justin Thomas

Happy New Year everyone! Louisville, KY native Justin Thomas has started out the new year the same way he has spent the last few years and that's winning. Sunday did not come easy as a bogey on 18 sent him to a 3-man playoff against Xander Schauffele and *mutters* patrick reed. All our new years wishes must've come true because reed missed 2 potential tournament winning putts and after then on the 3rd playoff hole 3-putted from just off the green and one putt absolutely blown past the hole (as someone from the crowd very loudly yells cheater in his direction).

Now the best part of the Sentry Tournament of Champions is obviously the course - Kapalua is absolutely stunning and to have this golf on prime-time post holidays is such a treat. We've spent the last 3 weeks binge watching every single bowl game presented by cereals, potatoes and taxslayers to NFL postseason, darts apparently became exciting, the start of the conference play for college basketball and some NBA then get ready to head back into the office and what do we get golf in prime-time at one of the most beautiful courses in the world.

Congrats Justin on your 12th career PGA Tour victory and thank you from everyone for not letting the name we shall not mention win in prime-time after this holiday season.
