The Cheat Meal Podcast - Sonia The Ninja & Wings

#FoodFridays may be our new favorite day here at Whiskey Pines National. Every Friday we are going to put out new content around the Cheat Meal podcast and every other Friday, we get the rare double feature! This week we have an incredible podcast with Sonia The Ninja of Symmetry Martial Arts in Jupiter, FL.

Talking to Sonia was one of the coolest experiences we've had, not just because she's a ninja but because her enthusiasm for life and teaching is contagious. I don't want to give too much away but let's just you'll get done listening to the podcast and get ready to run through a wall! She also put us through a quick martial arts workout and lets just say Lauren looked like Laylah Ali and I looked like Butter Bean....without the actual punching skills.

That being said, we had an absolute blast! Our "workout" along with other WPN adventures will drop on December 23rd as part of the monthly Whiskey Pines National video. To listen to the podcast go to the podcast section of our website or download on iTunes or Spotify!

The next major thing to drop today is our weekly Cheat Meal YouTube video. These videos will include ways to make your favorite cheat meals at home, as well as healthier alternatives in case you don't want to go all the way with your cheat meal. This week we are making wings in the air fryer.

All wings will start the same with salt, pepper and Carolina rub, the healthier versions go in the air fryer at 400 degrees for 12-16 minutes, flipping halfway through. The cheat meal version just add the homemade wing sauce:

2/3 cup hot pepper sauce (Frank's RedHot)

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter

1 1/2 tablespoons white vinegar

1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/8 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt & Pepper

If you enjoy our content make sure you hit that like button, subscribe to our channel and podcast and let us know what you want to see or hear next. We are always looking for new inspirational people to interview or new foods to make!
